* Holding my entire family, Adrienne, Reese, and Anna, in my arms (With some help from the swimming pool, but mostly with my mind-boggling strength).

* Playing in the outdoor section of the indoor/outdoor swimming pool with Reese. Feeling the crisp air on any skin that wasn’t covered by water. Seeing Reese’s blue eyes and enormous grin as I tossed him up in the air again and again.

* Quickly eating as much sushi as possible so I could ensure getting my money’s worth from the most amazing brunch ever constructed by humans.

* Adrienne surprising me by scheduling a fifty minute massage that left me calculating how many massages would fit into my daily budget. No, hourly budget.

* Eating authentic and amazing venezuelan food—Pabellon Criollo, Arepas, Empanadas de queso, jugo de parchita

* Sitting in an airplane cockpit with Reese in the Children’s Museum and Reese showing me what all the different levers and buttons were for. Surprisingly, over half of them were dedicated to temperature control of various kinds, “hot, cold, medium hot, medium cold, this one makes your feet warm…” and one that, somewhat ominously, “Makes everything go very very quiet.”

* Not taking photos or notes of any kind. No pressure to create anything, just enjoying my vacation.
