The Pipes, The Pipes

I was getting a drink from the drinking fountain by the bathrooms at work when I heard a toilet flush, and suddenly the water pressure in the fountain dropped.

Logic didn’t matter, the drinking fountain was now firmly associated with the toilet and I didn’t hang around to see if the pressure came back. I may never drink from that fountain again.

  1. Of course, you really have to worry if the toilet flush INCREASES the water pressure in the drinking fountain.

If you were a dog, you would ditch the fountain and go for the toilet where the pressure doesn’t go down.

Whenever I associate something with puking it has the same effect. I don’t want to go into details, but I haven’t eaten pecan pie for some time because of that.

when i lived in the dorms there was a sign above the drinking fountain on my floor that stated: “we use recycled toilet water”. i thot you may have learned your lesson from that, but here you are 2 years later freaking out because it just dawned on you.

SINGAPORE — Water-scarce Singapore has begun pumping water reclaimed from sewage and sewers into its public water system in a bid to reduce its dependence on neighboring Malaysia for its water supply.

Singapore Prime Minister Goh Chok Tong, who launched the event by turning on a symbolic giant tap at a water reclamation plant in the eastern part of the city-state, said that by attaining self-sufficiency in water supply, Singapore will not have to renew its agreements with Malaysia for the supply of water.
